How to win your dream wedding

I plan on using a really simple wedding dress or a bridesmaids dress for my dress. Then i think all we do is have to pay the preacher and the marriage license.

However I need other ideas for decoration, food, cakes, invitations,etc and the reception. Im so lost.
We are paying for the wedding ourselves.

What is some good cheap ideas for foods?
