Heyyyy guys. I know I’ve been a little awol, but film school’s been kicking my ass. Not sure where this one came from, but I think it turned out pretty well. Quinn Fabray is a history teacher at McKinley High School. Things are going well for her–she’s dating Jesse St. James, she loves her students; then one day, a blast from her past returns: Finn Hudson, the new football coach. She starts to think about her past with him, but before she can think TOO much, Jesse proposes, and she says yes, which Finn witnesses. He tries to explain that he still loves her, but Quinn tells him that she loves Jesse now. She tells Finn that she’s made the mistake of choosing him too many times before, and that he’s just going to end up heartbroken. As the wedding planning continues, Quinn becomes more and more frazzled. After watching Finn coach the team to another championship win, Quinn realizes that maybe she does still have feelings for him. She kisses him in the hallway one day, but immediately regrets her mistake. She and her maid of honor, Santana, go dress shopping, but Santana can tell something’s off with Q. She tries to convince the blonde to break up with Jesse, but Quinn tells her she can’t. Finn, however, is melting down, and calls the one person he knows he can confide in, begging her to come back and help him stop the wedding. The morning of the wedding, Santana tries one last-ditch effort at stopping the wedding, but Quinn flips out and says that she HAS to marry Jesse … Video Rating: 4 / 5
Last summer, after writing a story for Wired magazine about people who fake their own deaths, journalist Evan Ratliff decided to vanish and invited the public to try to find him. While he attempted to stay hidden for 30 days, he was caught in 25, thanks in part to the digital breadcrumb trail he left behind. Join Peter Eleey, curator of The Talent Show, and Ratliff as they discuss data-mining, surveillance, and other ramifications of a culture awash in in information. Video Rating: 4 / 5
