Help, I need a quick, simple and cheap centerpiece for tables?

My wedding is this Friday and I still haven’t decided on my centerpieces. I have 9 tables to decorate and have no idea what to do. It is actually renew of my wedding vowels, but we are having a quick ceremony. There’s no decor, just the room with a beautiful fireplace. Flower arranjements are expensive and candles alone are too plain. I am on a super tight budget. Considering all this, any ideas are welcome. Please help!

Hopefully this will help. How about a small basket (from the dollar store). And an arraingement of wildflowers either form the local farmers market, hand picked, etc.
Just my 2 cents

Go to the dollar tree store, they have some cool glass vases that are wide, get some colored glass marbles and put a candle inside, you can tie ribbon around them or get fake pearls and drape it over them! Congrats, i hop eit turns out beautifully! : )

I love this look:
Get a small mirror (they sell them at craft stores) – a 8inX8in should run about $4 a mirror
Then you can place a vase with flowers on top (that you can buy yourself) or you can sprinkle flower petals (real or fake)
You can also get ribbon or tulle to drape around the mirror
If you walk around a craft store, some ideas will probably hit you

For my wedding I bought small glass bowls (kinda bowls/ kida vases…) Then I bought some really cheap sand, shells, and a some bamboo. Put the sand in, then 3 stocks of bamboo for luck, and then put a few shells on top… and BEAUTIFUL!!!

Go to a place such a Big Lots and get some place mats or decorative cloth. Buy your candles and small holders along with some glass beads and clear/iridescent glitter. Place your candles in random arrangements and sprinkle the glitter around each completed center piece. The sparkle is a beautiful touch especially when the candles are flickering off of it. And remember, nobody is looking at these unless they just arrived. Its your day and you are the center of attention. Don’t stress over it, keep it simple. Congrats!

A bowl of oranges, lemons, and limes, with water and fresh flowers. Your best bet is to get the fruit at the farmers market or surplus grocery store.
A candle holder with candle and surround with shells and (sand) tie a ribbon around the candle holder.
Just a few ideas. Be creative, try looking at the dollar store and you will be sure to find glass ware to use as a center piece and then just fill it with something colorful and add a ribbon on the outside.

Go to the dollar store, any one and get votive candles in glass cups, 3 for $1, and get a set of 3 for each table, get a spool of matching wired ribbon and tie the three together, set in the middle of each table and light them – it’ll create nice ambiance, and look pretty as well, if you can find tapers in a matching color, stick 1 (a box of 10 or 12 would do) in the center of each set of 3 and put a plate under it to catch the drips. If you can find scented candles, it’ll smell nice too and the lack of flowers won’t be an issue. If you can’t find plates (chargers) then just don’t light the tapers.
$9 for votives
$1 for tapers
$3 for ribbon
$9 for plates
$22.00 tops plus tax.
Congrats.

If you have trees around you get the leaves. Then put then down the center of the table and a candle in the middle. If no leaves, you could use streamers and twist them down the middle and across the ends, plus a candle in the middle. The dollar stores have a great deal of stuff to sprinkle along the table for color..Congratulations….

i agree with the mum idea – here you can get them at the grocery store 3/$11.99… so that would cost you $36!!! to dress them up a bit maybe get some inexpensive fabic ( like at wall mart or whatever) and you would probably only need a yard and some corresponding ribbon that matches either what you are wearing or the color scheme of the room – tops you’re talking $45!! Good luck to you!!
