Many of us have a dream car, a car that we think “one day, I’ll own that”. Some people have not only one dream car but an entire list of varying sports cars that we’d love to drive down an open road. For those of us who win the lottery this fantasy may become a reality but for the majority of us we’ll be saving money well into our retirement before we can afford the super car of our dreams.
There are however, a number of firms who serve only to fulfil these dreams and let us taste what it’d be like to own these cars and offer them on a hire basis. There are firms who have bought a whole fleet of Ferraris or a load of Lamborghinis and they hire them out to any (responsible) drivers who want to try them.
These vehicles are often loaned for special events like weddings or birthdays but there’s every chance that a businessman may hire one when travelling to a client to give off a distinct impression that he’s a big shot. As long as you aren’t going to be going nuts and speeding across the highways and byways then you should be able to rent one of these for a day or two.
The big news though is that many of these cars can be hired at any big name Car Hire company; cars like the Ferrari F430 Spider and the Bentley Continental GT are classed as “prestige” class in the Car rental world. Some firms will only ask you for the class of vehicle that you want to hire and not allow you to be make and model specific.
It’s not just in this country you can splash out on hiring a truly special car but many companies will allow you to book your holiday Car Hire in advance and you can make your holiday that extra bit special and high class. Imagine driving a Ferrari in Los Angeles, whilst it may not be too outlandish for the residents of Rodeo drive at least you’ll be able to fit in with the masses over there.
